About Us
The English Language Clubhouse is cradled in the heart of New York City in "Harlem."
It offers students a special experience they will not get from other ESL schools.
Along with it's unique curriculum, the Clubhouse provides fantastic living conditions, two meals a day, and a warm stress-free study environment-all in one package.

Activities
Once the students settle in and begin their language instruction, they will also have the option to participate in a range of group activities and programs that will expose them to the neighborhood:
JAZZ CLUBS, THEATERS, CHURCHES, RESTAURANTS, and MUSEUMS.

Some programs that we plan to offer will give students a chance to become part of the community.
Already underway, THE INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL CHOIR, which meets every Thursday and travels to various churches in the community, will create a vehicle with which to interact with their surroundings.

Our teaching program will offer students the opportunity to teach their native language in elementary schools in the area.

In addition, arrangements will be made for them to have dinner once a week with a local family in the neighborhood.

Moreover, the Clubhouse will hold a weekly DINNER PARTY, where a selected group of neighbors, friends and acquaintances will gather together with our students.

The goal is to provide them with a warm surrogate family that will complement the learning process.
The community will benefit academically and culturally from having these personal interactions with people from other countries.

Our students will immerse themselves in the community, becoming participants rather than observers.

PROGRAMS

OUR CLASSES
-Intensive Semiprivate classes (Average 3 students per class, maximum 4)

-15 hours per week(Monday ~ Friday)

-Optional 2 hour Group Conversation Class on Saturday

SMALL CLASS SIZE
Customers will be provided with semi-private English instruction in a warm personal environment.
Each class will consist of no more than four students per class.
No other school in the New York area, except those offering costly intensive private lessons, offers such a small class size for such a reasonable and attractive price.
Because of the small number of students, the teacher will be able to address each student's language deficiencies individually; moreover, there will still be enough students to create stimulating conversation.

UNIQUE CURRICULUM
There are four levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, and Advanced.
Each level laid out in three-month cycles with weekly topics focusing on grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing, and conversation; every week will end with a video segment that tests their proficiency in these skills.
In addition, on Saturdays the Clubhouse offers an optional two hour Chat group session on a curriculum related topic with a guest native English speaker, giving students an opportunity to practice and apply what they have learned.
After finishing each level, students will have the satisfaction of knowing that they can hold conversations in English on twelve different subjects.

The Clubhouse will focus on topics and situations that are personal, where people can talk about their feelings, experiences, or ideas - the basic function of all languages.
Being able to exchange information about each other's lives, being able to laugh, and sympathize are what makes communication stimulating. Knowing the grammar and vocabulary necessary to express the things that are important to you is the most practical way to develop English fluency.
